In line with this and where relevant, our operatives are accredited under the Construction skills Certification scheme to underline our commitment to quality and a trained and capable workforce. This is reflected in our commitment to achieve Investor’s in People accreditation before 2010.
Quality Policy Statement
H Sweet & Sons Limited has a quality policy which is one of total commitment to getting it right first time every time. In keeping with the fundamental philosophy of quality management that quality cannot be inspected in but must be built in, the emphasis of construction control is on achieving specified requirements by effective planning, preparation and supervision. To support this, H Sweet & Sons Limited is currently undergoing audit of its Quality Management System to achieve ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
Environmental Policy Statement
H Sweet & Sons Limited is a professional and environmentally conscious organisation, which acknowledges the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment. The clear objective of H Sweet & Sons Limited is to minimise any impact on the environment by:
- Preventing pollution, reducing waste and ensuring wherever practical measures are implemented to
- protect and preserve natural habitats, flora and fauna
- Considering the effects that our operations may have on the local community
- Taking action to eliminate or reduce as far as practicable, any potentially adverse environmental impacts
- Promote environmental awareness amongst our suppliers, contractors and partners by
- implementation of operational procedures
- Seek to work in partnership with the community by behaving in a considerate and socially responsible manner
- Ensure effective and expedient incident control, investigation and reporting
H Sweet & Sons Limited will fully comply with the duties placed upon it within the requirements of Statutory Legislation, whilst at all times complying with, as a matter of best practice, the requirements and duties set out within Approved Guidance as issued by the Environment Agency and other organisations. To support this H Sweet & Sons Limited is currently undergoing audit of its Environmental Policy and Procedures to achieve ISO 14001 accreditation.

H Sweet & Sons Limited is a professional and safety conscious organisation which values the effective management of health, Safety and Welfare throughout all stages of a project. The clear objective is to minimise harm to persons and property by adopting a proactive approach to effective risk and safety management. All work is carried out in accordance with best practice to the relevant statutory provisions with all reasonably practicable measures being taken to avoid risk to employees or others that may be affected.
